Greg Hanford is the Head of Arts Therapies at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. Greg is a HCPC registered Music Therapist, a Psychotherapist specialising in Personality Disorders, and is an EMDR therapist.

Greg has trained in multiple modalities over the past 15 years and has maintained a passion for Music Therapy theory and practice, working in the private sector and in partnerships with various local authorities. Greg trained as a Music Therapist in 2010 at Queen Margaret University and has presented published research on technology being able to benefit the development of music therapy.

In recent years Greg has diversified his Psychotherapeutic training in talking therapies and holds a post-grad in advanced applications of cognitive behavioural therapy to personality disorders whilst working for the NHS. Greg is passionate about promoting multi-modality experience and is currently developing hybrid style of talking and music therapy based interventions. Greg is also a visiting guest lecturer at University of Liverpool.

Greg is currently working on expanding patient access to Art, Music, and Drama therapy at BCUHB across North Wales and is supporting the development of the national agenda to ensure Arts Therapies has a voice in Wales.
